Nguon 2016

Last Year the 546th edition of the Nguon festival took place in Foumban from 4th to 11th December. The event saw a grand total of 400,000 visitors which is a net increase of 50,000 visitors from the last event. The highlights of the festival was off course the ritual ceremonies presided by his Royal Highness Ibrahim Mbombo Njoya, The King of Bamoun people, but also the election of a new Miss Nguon, Yadih Aicha.
